Limit Future Booking to Restrict the Future Booking

If there is a period in the future after which you think managing your Cal ID events carries some level of uncertainty, with this feature, you can limit how far in the future your event can be booked. You can select how many calendar/business days will be displayed on your booking page as available for booking, or you can select a date range or particular date after there will be no slots showing. This can also be useful if you want to keep an eye on your immediate events to ensure no unwanted bookings appear on your calendar. This feature is helpful for Webinar setup as well.

Let's say you want to be available for bookings only two weeks ahead at any point in time. In your Event Type settings, select a number of days for how far into the future an invitee can book an event with you and set it to 14 calendar days. Now, bookers can only book you for two weeks ahead at any point in time. If you select the same date range you will be available for those days only.

To ensure your booking window remains consistently open for a month, follow these instructions to configure the "Limit Future Bookings" feature.

How to Set a Rolling 30-Day Booking Window

To keep a constant 30-day availability for your clients, follow these steps within the Limits tab of your event settings:

  1. Enable the Limit: Toggle the Limit future bookings switch to ON (the switch will appear red/active).
  2. Define the Range: In the input field, enter 30 and select business days (or calendar days) from the dropdown menu.
  3. Activate the Rolling Window: Check the box labeled "Always 30 days available."
  4. Save: Click the Save button in the top right corner to apply your changes.

Why use "Always 30 days available"?

This setting creates a rolling booking window, which is the most efficient way to manage long-term availability:

  • Continuous Availability: Your booking page will always display exactly 30 available days from the current date.
  • Automatic Updates: As each day passes (or as a day is fully booked), the system automatically opens a new day at the end of the window to replace it. This ensures your schedule never "runs out" of slots.
  • Fixed vs. Rolling: Without this box checked, your window is fixed. This means the available days will shrink as you get closer to the end of the specified 30-day period, eventually leaving you with no visible slots until you manually reset it.
