Team Features in Cal ID


The Teams feature in Cal ID is a powerful tool designed to streamline collaborative scheduling. By grouping users together, you can manage shared availability, distribute workloads evenly, and ensure that clients can always find a time to meet with your department.

Step-by-Step Team Creation


  1. Log in to Cal ID: Access your account dashboard.
  2. **Go to Teams Page
  3. Create a Team: Click on the + Add a team button to start the setup process.
  4. Enter Team Details:
  • Enter the Team name; this name will be reflected in your public URL.
  • Set the Team URL.
  • Note: The person who creates the team automatically becomes the Owner.



  1. Add Team Members:
  • Now, enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
  • Select their role: Owner, Admin, or Member.
  • Click on Send invite.



  1. Understand Roles:
  • Owner/Admin: Can change any settings for the team.
  • Member: Can only see applied settings but cannot modify them.
  1. Finalize Team: Click Continue to move to event creation.


Create a Team Event Type


After creating the team, you need to define how they will be booked:


  1. Title & Duration: Enter a clear title for the event type and select the duration.
  2. Scheduling Type: Choose how the meeting should be booked based on your use case.
  3. Description: Write a brief description about the event type for your clients.



Understanding Scheduling Types


  • Round Robin

Use Case: Evenly distributing sales demos among account executives.

Description: Meeting is booked with one available team member automatically, reducing wait times for clients.

  • Collective

Use Case: Panel interviews or technical consultations requiring multiple team members.

Description: Meeting is booked only when all selected team members are free simultaneously.
